NBA Star Devin Booker Made History In Suns-Pacers Game

On Thursday night, the Phoenix Suns are playing the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.

Devin Booker had 41 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one block while shooting 13/25 from the field and 4/5 from three-point range in his first 30 minutes of playing time.

In addition, Booker also made NBA history.

The Phoenix Suns wrote: “Devin Booker has passed Magic Johnson on the @NBA all-time scoring list!”

Booker came into the night with productive averages of 24.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.1 assists per contest while shooting 45.0% from the field and 32.0% from three-point range in 49 games.

Booker was the 13th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball at Kentucky.

He has spent all 11 seasons of his pro career with the Suns.

During the 2021 season, Booker helped lead the franchise to the NBA Finals for the first time since Charles Barkley was on the roster (in 1993).

Phoenix This Season

The Suns came into the night with a 38-27 record in 65 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have won six out of ten).

Following the Pacers, the Suns will visit the Toronto Raptors on Friday in Canada.

On the road, they have gone 16-14 in the 30 games they have played away from Arizona.

Last season, the Suns missed the NBA playoffs despite having Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal on their roster.

Indiana Pacers Struggling

After making the 2025 NBA Finals, the Pacers are currently the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 15-50 record in 65 games.

They are in the middle of a ten-game losing streak.

Following the Suns, the Pacers will host the New York Knicks on Friday.
